Pinxxx Chats With Dr. Elizabeth OB/GYN

We had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Elizabeth an Obstetrics Gynecologist of 15 years. Here's what she had to say about Pinxxx , top questions she's asked in her profession & the growing trend in "bleaching."

How long have you been an OB/GYN?

15 years

What made you want to become an OB/GYN & what do you love most about your profession?

I’m so grateful to be able to care for women in all stages of their lives.  There are so many various aspects to my profession, there is never a dull moment!

We ALL want to know...Should we remove our hair before our visits? Is it easier for you to work when there is no hair?

This is 100% a personal choice.  Regardless of grooming practices, it does not affect your medical care.  Please do not do anything on our account.  Truly, we pay no attention to a women’s grooming practice!

How did you find out about Pinxxx products?

There are a few well known spas that use the product.  When I checked out the ingredients I was really impressed.

Have you seen an increase over the years in your patients wanting to beautify their intimate areas by "bleaching" or using products? What do you think of the trend?

Over the years, more and more women have asked me for suggestions on how to make the skin in the intimate areas more uniform in appearance.  I have seen an increase as more women have chosen to wax and shave their intimate areas.

What peaked your interest in PInxxx products over other products on the market?

Definitely the ingredient list!

The process of using the products in layers reminded me of my daily regimen for my face.

What do you say to someone professionally and or personally if they are unhappy with skin tone in intimate areas and want to improve the appearance "down there?"

First, I recommend they accept all parts of their bodies.  It’s normal to have various in skin tones on our bodies, especially in the intimate areas.  If women desire a more uniform appearance, then I recommend using products such as Plnxxx or visiting a board-certified Dermatologist who can offer in office procedures.

Do you prefer standard Pharmaceutical "lightening" methods like Hydroquinone and Retin-A or a more natural, holistic approach to "brightening up" intimate areas and why?

Definitely, prefer non- hydroquinone products given the concern for carcinogenic risks.  There are great natural ingredients that can work just as good or better than the pharmaceutical products.  I recommend the safest products that can get the job done!

Pinxxx believes in fragrance free & soap free products. What are your thoughts on highly perfumed washes, lotions or bar soaps for intimate areas?

Your intimate areas are more sensitive to perfumed/scented and highly processed products.

I recommend staying away from these type of products that are marketed for this area.

When should we consult a Physician if we see skin changes "down there" or anywhere on our bodies?

If you notice any new and enlarging moles or abnormal discolorations you should see Physician.

Dr. Elizabeth's Personal Review of Pinxxx:

" I’m pleased with the Pinxxx system. After a few weeks I noticed a big difference, maybe 30-40% improvement.  That was faster than I thought I would see. I had a gap when I didn't use the products because I was traveling (mostly internationally). I noticed that the discoloration was stable(stayed the same, didn't worsen)This was very reassuring. I feel comfortable recommending & endorsing Pinxxx"
